2 3/4 Cup(s) Flour, Wheat, White, All-Purpose, unbleached
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Basil, dried
1 Teaspoon(s) Garlic powder
4 Tablespoon(s) Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon(s) Oregano, dried
1 Pinch Pepper, black
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt, Sea
1 Teaspoon(s) Sugar, Organic Evaporated Cane Juice
1 Tablespoon(s) Thyme, dried
1 Cup(s) Water
1 Tablespoon(s) Yeast, Active Dry
Mix together the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, basil and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and water until the dough is pulled together.
Turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic. Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough in the bowl, and turn to coat with oil. Cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Punch dough down and place on greased baking sheet. Pat into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Brush top with olive oil. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Slice into squares or long rectangles for dipping and serve warm.
Add 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast to 1 cup of prepared, warm, marinara sauce for an amazing dipping sauce. You can also add shredded vegan cheese to the top if desired.
